Let There Be Light.

I am just loving this Australian home belonging to stylist and writer, Andrea Miller and her family. Aside from the obvious killer vintage finds, I am mostly in awe of the abundance of natural light and the way it dances so gorgeously on all the white walls, ceilings and floors. I guess you always gravitate to what you don’t have. One thing is for sure, massive amounts of natural light is at the top of my wish list for our next home. I can’t wait.

I hope you are having a fabulous week so far! I am trying to enjoy this sunshine as much as possible while it lasts – you never know when the rain will return around here.

Summer Dream.

Hello and happy Monday! It’s happy because the sun is shining outside my window again. I am really hoping now that summer has officially begun, the sun will decide to stick around for more than a day or two at a time. I am more than ready for the lazy days of summer!

I thought I would share the home of Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan, the designer who started the popular website, Apartment Therapy because it reminds me of long and happy summers spent at camp as a kid. In fact, his house sits on half an acre adjacent to his mother’s 18 acre property which just so happens to be a former summer camp. How perfect is that? The family has since built a barn and not one, but six (!) yurts on the property. Sounds like a summer dream alright.

I hope your week is off to a great start!

A Beverly Hills Home.

Hello pink! I don’t think I could live with this much pink all of the time, but looking at these photos of a Beverly Hills home decorated by Schuyler Samperton just makes me happy! I also like how the pink pops are mainly in the drapes, pillows and flowers, making it fairly easy to change things up if the mood strikes. What about you? Are you a pink fan or not?
