Summer Cleaning.

Last night I started purging. I only got through my clothes, but my closet already feels so much cleaner. The small size of our house does restrict us from keeping a certain amount of excess – which I think is a good thing, only living with the things you truly need. But I am finding, if I don’t keep myself constantly in check, it is amazing how much extra ‘stuff’ I can fit in. And so begins my purging journey, room by room. Here are some photos of incredibly organized rooms that are inspiring me.

Ahhh, if only my closets and drawers looked like these! It’s a constant process for me, especially with 3 kids who love to “collect” treasures…wonder where they got that from! But I always have a Salvation Army bag on the go and it’s amazing how fast it fills up every month.
