Maybe it’s because summer is so painstakingly close, but lately I have been thinking about old school summer camp decor. I recently discovered Camp Wandawega in Elkhorn, Wisconsin… I don’t know about you, but my summer camps were never this stylish! I would absolutely LOVE to stay here! But for now, I will have to be content to pick up on some of their decor choices.
If you want your home to feel like a cottage on the lake, or if you already have a cottage on the lake but want it to have a vintage camp feel, take notes! There is a lot of inspiration to follow!
Lots of plaid… colourful lanterns, vintage coolers and trunks.
Mason jar pendent lights! Old maps! Vintage sporting equipment as art!
I love the ‘unfinished’ walls in this room.
Antler chandelier and a tree growing out the window! … be still my heart.
Vintage tennis/badminton racquets on the walls…
Lots of white paint mixed with ticking…
Industrial lighting & old metal locker baskets mixed with the wooden counters and beams make for a soft and simple kitchen.
More ticking and sports equipment.
No cabin would be complete without plenty of colourful vintage wool blankets!
Well, I’m off to do some more painting! Trying to get some new stuff ready for The Old School Market! I hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy this blissful warmth while it lasts!
