Happy Friday! I hope you have a wonderful weekend… whether you’re in the US celebrating Thanksgiving or up in Canada (or anywhere else for that matter)! Enjoy this last weekend of November – crazy! Before I am off, I just wanted to share with you this gorgeous and simple home in Norway. Isn’t it fresh?

Hello! I have been busy bee lately getting things ready for the Fieldstone Vintage Market, and also trying to get things ready for our little birdy who is going to be joining us shortly. To tell you the truth, I have been a bit distracted by all that is before me… And this ol’ blog is showing it. I hope you’ll have some grace on me over the next few weeks as I try to tie up some loose ends.
As sad as this may sound, I have decided not to decorate my home for Christmas this year (gasp!). Mostly because it is hard to anticipate when and how our baby will arrive and I am worried I would still have a tree up well into Spring! While I am perfectly at peace with this decision, Christmas decor has been a little off my radar this year. But one thing I think I could perhaps still manage to pull off is an advent calendar. I have seen so many creative DIY versions floating around the internet these days that it would be sort of hard to resist. I thought I’d share a few of my favorites.

A lovely leather bag
A lovely rug.
A lovely delicate vintage baby dress.
A lovely recipe for cardamom & cream cheese squares (also, why can I never find pumpkins like that around here?)
A lovely little print.
And a lovely little place to sit.
Well, I am off to craft my little heart out! Just a reminder that Twig Home will be at the Fieldstone Christmas Market on December 3, along with many other great vendors. You are not going to want to miss it!
Sweet William, Bohemian Wornest
Happy Monday! I hope you all had fabulous weekends. I had a pretty relaxed couple of days spent with friends and family. Just what this weary girl needed. I feel very refreshed and ready to accomplish a whole lot this week! But first, I thought I would share with you the two above interiors. I am loving the bohemian feel to both of these rooms. The white walls with pops of red and ethnic and natural touches throughout are just beautiful to me. I also like how neither room takes itself too seriously, nor do they look super ‘decorated’, but they both manage to have a cohesive look that stops before going overboard. Below are some items from Jayson Home & Garden to help you get the look… or at least to give you some ideas of what sorts of things to look for on your next thrifting adventure! Have a great day… I’ll be back tomorrow with A Few Lovely Things.

Well, we made it to the weekend! People aren’t joking when they talk about difficulty sleeping in the 3rd trimester… just when I was counting myself lucky too. Bam. I am tossing and turning to no end. I, for one, am really looking forward to resting, crafting and more resting this weekend. Any fun plans for you? See you Monday!
