Good morning! You know those homes that just do it for you in almost every single way? The home of stylist Kara Rosenlund is one of those for me. The creamy, natural colour palette, white walls, wood floors, antiques, and plenty of natural curiosities, such as antlers, horns, feathers, and shells! Ah, be still my heart. I also completely agree and love her motto in regards to decorating with vintage:
“Unusual finds are what gives your home integrity, wamth and vibrance. We love and encourage stylish vintage pieces to be used everyday in the modern home and believe that every room should house at least one object that is older that you! Love your home!”
Isn’t that the truth?! Love it. I hope you enjoy this home tour as much as I do and are inspired to bring ‘integrity, warmth and vibrance’ to your home through beautiful, unusual vintage pieces!
P.S. Things might be a little quiet around here this week as I am juggling last minute preparations for the market as well as a bunch of baby-related appointments. The little bird is still breech… prayers that she flips would be much appreciated. We had planned a natural home birth and the reality of a much more clinical experience isn’t sitting so well with me. This week is better though as I am learning (yet again) to place my trust in God; he has far more wisdom and knowledge than I do (although this is hard for me to believe sometimes). Thanks all! Hope you have a great day!
