Well, I am still alive… and also still pregnant. Today is the first of my 2 due dates (although I think the second one, January 1st, is more accurate). Obviously, I guess, since still no baby today. I won’t be too surprised if I end up going overdue – I think she might just need a little more time in there. I am trying my best to be patient; although it never was one of my virtues. I just can’t wait to hold her in my arms instead of in my belly, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, I thought I would pop in to say hello! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are rested and have full bellies from all that turkey and pie! My Christmas was pretty uneventful but full nonetheless. It has been so wonderful just taking a break and spending some much needed time with family and friends. My blogging schedule probably won’t go back to ‘normal’ for a while as I spend most of my time cuddling my daughter (hopefully soon!) and trying my best to get the hang of being a first time mommy. But I will be popping in from time to time and before long I should have a new schedule figured out.
I just thought I’d share with you this gorgeous Japanese home that has been inspiring me lately. It’s warm, simple and unexpected. Just the way I like it.

Serenely hip….
Very excited for you two!…soon to be three!
Firstly, I want to live in that home. If I can’t have that home, I have to, at least, get my Australian husband a giant stuffed leather kangaroo.
Secondly, hurry up and have that baby 😉 I’ll be thinking of you guys over the weekend. Good luck! So exciting.
I am already looking forward to hearing of your safe delivery too.
I was admiring the photos of this home and was surprised to see the quilt. I bought one exactly like it at the MCC sale several years ago. I considered myself to have found something priceless.
I posted about it.
