D+K=LOVE (Pt. 2)

Here are some photos from the ceremony of our wedding. Dustin and I got married outside on a VERY hot day last July… Although, you can’t really complain about the weather being ‘too hot’ on your wedding day when you live in B.C.

We bought the cream umbrellas at the dollar store as a last minute precaution against the sun and they ended up being a lifesaver (as well as looking pretty cute!). Guests sat on hay bales covered with antique linens and quilts and vintage wooden chairs. We had vintage hankies available for guests to use for their ‘tears of joy’, although, they might have been used more for wiping the sweat from their brows! We wanted a very simple, laid-back vibe, so we opted to not print service orders and instead write the order of the ceremony on an old window turned blackboard.

I have one last wedding-related post for you (if you can handle it) – the reception! I think it’s the best one yet! Lots of fun details.

As with my previous wedding post, all photos here were taken by our AMAZING photographer, Bethany Schiedel.

Hey, I’m a friend of Dustin, you’re wedding was so beautiful. I love they style! I love the whole laid absolutely gorgeous!! Really one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve seen. My little brother wanted to get married outside when he got married, unfortunately in Ireland you just can’t count on anything other than rain!!
