Market Day.

I thought I would share just a few photos from my booth at the Fieldstone Vintage Market this past weekend. The talented Jayme Lang was kind enough to snap these and to allow me to share them with you. I am especially thankful since I forgot my camera at home – (big surprise!). I had so much fun crafting ornaments, wreaths and all sorts of things for the market; I even got my amazing sister-in-law (who lives in Kentucky!) to make and send me some beautiful wares! I am so grateful to her for helping me out, as I was beginning to think I had bitten off a bit more than I could chew.

While I thoroughly enjoyed this market, I can’t help but be a little glad it is over – my house is starting to look less like a crafting explosion and more like a home! I will also hopefully now have more time to focus on preparing for the little one who will be joining us very soon. And by preparing, I mean resting, making some meals ahead of time, resting, finishing the ‘nursery’, and more resting. All good things.

Well, that’s it for the beautiful photos of my booth… but I couldn’t help throwing in a few of my iPhone photos as well, so here they are. If you are upset because you couldn’t make it out to the market (or if you just didn’t get enough), I have restocked Cozy Home with many of the things you see in these pictures. If you’re looking for unique handmade or vintage ornaments, decor, or cards, please feel free to continue your Christmas shopping over there!

Happy Friday!

Wow! This week has been a whirlwind for me – and it’s not over yet! I just wanted to pop in and remind all of you who are local to come check out the Fieldstone Vintage Market tomorrow from 12-5pm. It’s going to be a great way to get your Christmas shopping done and support local businesses within your community at the same time! Bring the whole family – and don’t forget to bring your outgrown winter coats and clothing along to help support the Salvation Army’s annual Coats for Kids drive.

Hope to see you there!

A Few Lovely Things.

A lovely leather bag

A lovely rug.

A lovely delicate vintage baby dress.

A lovely recipe for cardamom & cream cheese squares (also, why can I never find pumpkins like that around here?)

A lovely little print.

And a lovely little place to sit.

Well, I am off to craft my little heart out! Just a reminder that Twig Home will be at the Fieldstone Christmas Market on December 3, along with many other great vendors. You are not going to want to miss it!

Sweet Paul Magazine.

Does the holiday season make you want to be more crafty? I don’t know what it is, maybe the colder weather, but every year around this time, all I want to do is stay inside and make pretty things! Combine that with ‘nesting’ this year and you can imagine what my house looks like! Especially since we are missing a key component – an office/craft room. Oh well. I’ve already decided not to decorate much for Christmas this year… I know, it sounds so sad but not knowing exactly when this baby is going to come makes things a little more difficult. I am mostly scared that I won’t have the time or energy to take it all down until Spring! Good thing I have the Fieldstone Vintage Market to make things for!

There are a lot of fun Christmas and holiday themed craft ideas in the new magazine from Sweet Paul, not to mention delicious looking recipes. Take a look for yourself, here.

Twig Home Update.

Good morning! Many of you have been asking about Twig Home, so I thought I would do a little Twig Home shop update to keep you all informed with the goings-on around here. I am currently not open at my studio in Chilliwack… however, I am still very willing to open it by appointment. So grab a couple girlfriends, some coffees and email me to set up a time to stop by! The reason for this change is quite simply, I am too busy! With a baby on the way, there are certain things I would love to get established within the next 2 months – the major one being – an Etsy store! Just think, pretty soon you will be able to shop Twig Home from your home.

In the meantime, you can find my items for purchase at any of the following locations!

If you have any questions about anything Twig Home related (or anything else for that matter), please, get in touch with me! I’d love to hear from you!

P.S. All of the above information (as well as addresses) can also be found on our Where to Find page.
