Animal Instincts.

Lonny via This is Glamorous

Lately I have really been gravitating towards anything animal print. Mostly leopard print and mostly in clothing and fashion. But I am also quite smitten with animal prints used (sparingly) in interiors as well. What do you think? Too wild and crazy for you? I might start off with just a stool or a pillow and who knows where I’ll end up?!

I love leopard and have it here and there around the main bathroom has a leopard print shower curtain with cream walls and black and gold accessorizing.( And lots of clothes with it too.)

I love a little animal print here and there but, as with fashion, I agree that it should be used sparingly! I do love that carpeted staircase though…

I like the unexpected splashes of it. it is surprising how much liveliness and interest it adds to a room, like in the apartment library in your photo above. It’s fun!

A hint here or there can really add a little interest and spice to a space. I don’t think I’d ever bring a large possibly expensive piece (rug, furniture) into a space because I see it as a trend. Pillows, ottomans that can be recovered… that’s fun, sassy and easily removed/recovered when the trend passes on.
    Lovely images!
