A Few Lovely Things.

Hello! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve been on here. I have the best intentions to blog every day, but somehow, cuddling my cute, soft Wren wins every time… Crazy, I know. We started sleep training at the beginning of last week and it was going so well – she was going to bed so easily without needing to be rocked and without (too many) tears. And once she’s asleep she is down for about 6 hours at a time during the night. But this all changed on Friday when I had to wake her up 45 minutes into her nap to take her to the doctors. It felt like all our hard work was ruined with that one disturbed nap. Needless to say, we have had a rough couple days sticking close to home trying to get her back on a schedule… which is finally paying off once again. Three cheers to our quick little learner! Anyhow, the good news is, I had lots of time to prepare some blog posts for this week! Lucky you :).

So in honor of Valentines Day this week, I thought I would do a pink and red themed Lovely Things post today. Enjoy.

A lovely rug.

Lovely pink salt… Not sure if it tastes better than white, but it sure looks better.

Lovely DIY heart elbow patches.

A lovely garland.

A lovely pink and red bathroom.

Lovely bracelets.

A lovely wall hanging.

6 hours!!! Good for you. Naomi didn’t do that until about 6 months. I heard about babies who started sleeping longer stretches on their own but we were stuck at feeding every 1.5-2 hours. I’m planning to try sleep training a lot earlier with #2, we’ll see how that goes.
